2 whole grain bread slice(s), 100% whole grain (~3 oz)
1 apple (~5 oz)
1 ¼ oz cheddar cheese
¾ tsp coconut oil (~⅛ oz)
optional: ¾ tsp mustard (~⅛ oz)
Heat pan to medium-high and add oil.
Wash and slice apple into thin slices.
Put mustard on bread then add slices of cheese and apple. Put other slice of bread on top, making a sandwich (if your recipe only requires one slice of bread, cut it in half). Note: If the amount of apple is too high, you can snack it separately.
Heat sandwich in pan on both sides until the cheese is melted.
Serve and enjoy!
